Witness appeal following an assault at Bridgwater station – Somerset

British Transport Police officers are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Bridgwater station in Somerset.

On the evening of 30 March, a man and a woman walked from Bridgwater town centre to the train station.  Between 9pm and 9.30pm an assault occurred on platform two of the station resulting in the woman receiving injuries to the head from the man. 

The man and the woman are both described as white and aged between 40 and 50-years-old.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or has any information, to come forward and assist the investigation.
