Man left with serious head injuries following assault – Essex

Do you recognise this man?

We’d like to speak to him in connection with a serious assault at Prittlewell station in Essex, which left a man unconscious.

Just before 2pm yesterday (27 June), a train arrived at the station heading towards Southend Victoria. A man exited the train, before banging on the window and shouting at another passenger. An argument ensued.

The offender punched the victim to the ground, before assaulting him further and then leaving the station.

The victim remains in hospital with serious head injuries.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV images, as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.
