CCTV released after teenage boy robbed – Sutton Coldfield

British Transport Police officers investigating a robbery on board a train between Sutton Coldfield and Wylde Green railway stations and have released a CCTV image in connection.

A 15-year-old boy boarded a train at Sutton Coldfield at around 3.30pm on Thursday 9 March and was approached by two men who demanded he hand over his coat and grabbed him by the back of his neck.

The victim initially refused, but when one of the men gestured towards a handle in his waistband, he handed over his coat and left the train.

The two men stayed on the service to Erdington Railway Station.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.
