CCTV image released after robbery on board train – Birmingham

British Transport Police officers investigating a robbery have released this CCTV image in connection.

The incident occurred between 9.20pm and 9.35pm on Monday 8 May on board a train from Butlers Lane to Erdington.

A 26-year-old man was sat on the train when he was approached by a man who demanded he hand over his rucksack.

The man then threatened him further and demanded his wallet and phone and attempted to snatch these from him.

The man disembarked the train at Wylde Green Railway Station with the man’s backpack.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.
