Do you recognise this woman?
Officers investigating an incident on board an Avanti service from London Euston to Edinburgh are releasing this CCTV image in connection.
At around 7pm on Friday 9 June, the victim, who was travelling with her boyfriend, was spat at by a young woman who left the train at Carlisle station.
Officers believe the woman in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
