3 July 2023 15:25 Victim of Peckham murder named as investigation continues Rohan Trotman died in hospital after being stabbed in Nunhead Green on Sunday, 25 June.

The victim of a fatal stabbing in Peckham has been named by police as detectives continue to appeal for witnesses.

Police were called at 21:20hrs on Sunday, 25 June to reports of a stabbing in Nunhead Green, near to the junction with Gordon Road, SE15.

It was reported a man had suffered stab wounds and had been taken to hospital by a member of the public.

Despite the efforts of medical staff, the man died in hospital at 09:30hrs on Monday, 26 June. He has been named as 26-year-old Rohan Trotman.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and there have been no arrests.

Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said: “Rohan’s family and friends have been left devastated by his death. I know there are people in the community who have information about the circumstances in which he suffered the fatal stab wounds.

“If they have not already done so, I would urge them to contact police. I also continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area of Nunhead Green at around 21:20hrs on Sunday, 25 June who saw any of this incident to get in touch. You may have information that could prove vital to this investigation.”
