Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a man who is missing from hospital.

Abdi Ahmed, 41, was last seen on Wednesday 31 January at 15:05hrs walking down Nash way, off Kenton Road, Harrow after leaving hospital where he was receiving treatment for his mental health.

He is described as Black, 6ft 2inches tall with short black afro style hair. Abdi was wearing a navy blue puffer jacket with black trousers and blue plimsolls with white socks.

PC Callum Watts from the Met’s Missing Persons Unit which covers Harrow said: “Abdi has no cash, phone or wallet. We have exhausted all enquiries with no confirmed sightings and due to the fact he has no traceable items on him, we are appealing for the public’s help.

“It is crucial that we find Abdi – he is vulnerable and needs to return back to the mental health facility to receive the care and support he needs. Abdi walks with a distinctive limp, if you see anyone matching his description please do not hesitate to contact us on 101 stating 24MIS004279, for any immediate sightings dial 999.”
