27 October 2023 12:26 Appeal to trace vulnerable pensioner missing from Crayford Bob was last seen in the early hours of 24 October on Galloway Drive, Crayford.

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing man from Crayford.

Detectives are becoming extremely concerned for the welfare of Bob who has been missing since Tuesday, 24 October.

Bob is 85 and was last seen via doorbell camera footage at approximately 03:54hrs on Galloway Drive, Crayford heading in the direction of Station Road and Dartford Heath.

He has not been seen or heard from by his family since that time and this is concerning for police and his family.

Bob was last seen wearing a light blue/grey coat and trousers and has a distinctive stooped walk, as seen in the doorbell image.

Detective Inspector Kirsten Hadleigh from Met’s South East Public Protection Unit said:

“Bob is vulnerable and suffers with dementia which is why it is important we find him fast. My concern that Bob is in danger increases every moment that he remains missing.

“We are now appealing to the public for their assistance, I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen Bob over the past few days.

“I would urge people to check dash cam or other camera footage from the Dartford Heath/ Shepherds Lane areas from 04:00hrs-05:00hrs on Tuesday, 24 October. This footage may have captured Bob and this could prove vital in our efforts to find him.”

The police investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to call 101 or post @MetCC quoting reference 23MIS035913 to provide information.
