Police investigating the murder of Frank McKeever have carried out searches at two locations in the East Midlands.
On Friday, 23 June, officers carried out searches in Lutterworth Road, Leicestershire, and Cavells Road close to the Welford Truck Stop, Northamptonshire.
At this time, nothing of evidential value has been found. Mr McKeever’s family has been kept updated.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Mr McKeever was last seen on 28 August 2021 walking along Highbury Park, close to the junction of Highbury Grange. He was 63 years old at the time.
His body has never been found.
There is a substantial reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the location of Frank McKeever.
