Cause of death for Michal Wlodarczyk was given as sharp force injuries to the neck. We are not able to provide further details as to the circumstances of his death at this stage.

Post-mortem examinations for Maja Wlodarczyk, aged 11, and Dawid Wlodarczyk, aged three, took place on Wednesday, 21 June, at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Cause of death for Maja was given as a stab wound to the heart, and for Dawid as multiple stab injuries.

It is not yet known on which date the four people died. Police were called by Maja’s school at 15:12hrs on Friday, 16 June, since they and her friends were concerned that she had not attended school since Monday, 12 June, and family members had not replied to messages.

Officers forced entry to the family home – a flat in Staines Road, Bedfont – a short time later, where, tragically, the four bodies were found.

Inquests opened and adjourned on Tuesday, 20 June, at West London Coroner’s Court.

The Met’s investigation is led by homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, and enquiries continue.

Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who is leading the investigation, said: “Specialist detectives continue to investigate the circumstances which led to this tragic incident. We are continuing to support family members at this unimaginably difficult time, and we thank the local community for their understanding in recent days whilst we conducted enquiries at the scene.

“The situation remains that we are not currently seeking anybody else in connection with the incident.”
