A man will appear in court charged with the rape of a woman in Soho.
Michael Lawson – 55 (03.07.68) of no fixed abode will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 22 July charged with rape.
This relates to an incident that took place during the early hours of Saturday, 17 June in Soho, W1 where a woman reported she had been attacked by a man.
The woman continues to be supported by specially trained officers.
Lawson was arrested on Friday, 21 July following an investigation by detectives from the Central West Command Unit.
