A man has been charged with the murder of another man in Hayes.

[A] Leo Price, 21 (12.04.01), of Blair Close UB3, was charged on Monday, 17 July, with one count of murder and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, 18 July.

Police were called shortly before 10:00hrs in Saturday, 15 July to a residential address on Station Road in Hayes following reports of a man found deceased.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A man was found with a slash wound; he pronounced dead the scene.

He has now been named by police as James Donnelly, 45, from Hayes.

His family has been informed.

At about 03:30hrs on Sunday, 16 July, officers arrested a man on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station. He was later charged as above.

Another man [B] aged 51, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and theft, and remains in custody at this time.
