A man has been charged with rape and manslaughter in relation to the death of Natalie Patricia Shotter in 2021.
Mohamed Iidow, 34 (17.02.89) of no fixed address, was charged on Thursday, 21 December and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 12 January.
He was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 19 January.
Natalie, 37, died in Southall Park on 17 July 2021. Her death was initially treated as unexpected while further enquiries were carried out.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident on 4 August 2021 and subsequently charged as above.
The investigation is being led by detectives from our Specialist Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley.
