Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Hayes have named the victim as a man appears in court charged with murder.
Police were called at 04:33hrs on Tuesday, 11 July at a residential property in Melina Close.
Jason Thompson, 54, who was from Hayes, was found inside the property with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, Jason sadly died at the scene.
Next of kin have been notified. They are being supported by specialist officers.
Adejuwon Olufemi Alexander Jnr Oyekan, 30 (08.11.92) of Melina Close, Hayes was arrested on Tuesday, 11 July and on Wednesday, 12 July he was charged with murder.
Oyekan appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, 13 July where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday 17 July.
