12 January 2024 07:30 Witnesses and footage sought after elderly woman dies of her injuries following collision in Hackney Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and an 85-year-old woman was taken to an east London hospital. Sadly, she died there on Tuesday, 9 January.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after an elderly woman died from her injuries following a collision in Hackney.

Police were called shortly before 17:10hrs on Thursday, 4 January to reports of a bus in collision with a pedestrian near the Tesco store in Morning Lane, Hackney.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and an 85-year-old woman was taken to an east London hospital. Sadly, she died there on Monday, 8 January.

Her next of kin have been informed.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit ask anyone who may have captured the collision on dash cam or other media devices, or witnessed it, to contact the witness appeal line on 020 8597 4874.
