They found Kamran who had been stabbed several times. He was treated at the scene but despite the best efforts of the emergency services he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

An investigation was launched by detectives from the Specialist Crime Command. Within five days of the incident, the three defendants had been arrested and charged.

Detective Inspector Jamie Snell, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: “This is yet another tragic example of a young life taken because of a minor disagreement.

“Abubakar Binabdulaziz and the teenager had no qualms about using knives, carrying out a ferocious attack on Kamran which saw him stabbed more than 30 times.

“My thoughts are with Kamran’s family and friends who have suffered the most unimaginable loss. I hope they can take some solace from the fact his killers have been brought to justice.”
