Officers are appealing for information following a fatal collision on Battersea Bridge.

Police were called at 07:55hrs on Thursday, 10 August to Battersea Bridge, SW10, on the northside of the bridge.

A collision was reported between a lorry and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a 27-year-old woman from Battersea, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed.

The lorry did not stop at the scene, but was subsequently located by officers in Fulham, SW6.

The driver of the lorry has been spoken to by police. He has not been arrested and inquiries continue.

The investigation is being led by officers from the Met’s Serious Collison Investigation Unit who are appealing for witnesses, information or dash-cam footage.
