Detectives have charged a man with murder after a fatal stabbing in Harrow.

Abdul Khan, 25 (14.08.97), of Durham Road, Harrow, was arrested on Saturday, 8 July. He was charged on the following day with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 10 July.

An investigation was launched after police were called at 06:25hrs on Saturday, 8 July to reports of a stabbing on Pinner Road in North Harrow.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

A 49-year-old man was found with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he died at the scene.

Whilst formal identification awaits, he has been named as Bodhan Vandzhura from Harrow.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Sunday, 9 July confirmed he died as a result of multiple stab wounds to the chest and neck.

His family has been informed.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continue to appeal to any witnesses to come forward.
