A man has been remanded after appearing in court charged with a violent assault in Islington.

Alex Ogden, 28 (24.12.95) of no fixed abode was arrested in Southwark on Thursday, 2 November.

On Friday, 3 November he was charged with wounding with Intent to cause GBH against a man in his 50’s, this is being treated as a homophobic hate crime.

Ogden was also wanted after he failed to attend court on 31 August after being charged with three common assaults at York railway station.

Ogden appeared in custody today at Croydon Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded in custody to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, 1 December 2023.
