Detectives investigating the death of Fuad Saman in Brent have charged a man with murder.
Osman Abshir, 28 (25.04.95), of Church Road, NW10, was charged on Sunday, 13 August. He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 14 August.
An investigation was launched after we were called at 22:45hrs on Thursday, 10 August to concerns for the welfare of a man at a residential property in Casselden Road, NW10.
Officers responded and forced entry to the property. They found a 40-year-old man with head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has since been identified as Fuad Saman from Brent. His family continue to be supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday, 12 August confirmed he died as a result of blunt and sharp force injuries to the head.
