Detectives investigating an attempted robbery on a train in Essex are today releasing CCTV images in connection.
At approximately 4.45pm on Tuesday 9 May the victim was on board a train travelling between Chalkwell and Benfleet when they were approached by five young men.
They attempted to steal the victim’s phone and shouted homophobic abuse.
Officers believe the people in the images may have information which could assist their investigation.
