Images released of recovered property and urge owners to come forward – Nottinghamshire

British Transport Police are reappealing for potential victims of crime to claim their stolen property.

Following an earlier appeal published last month, the owners have yet to be found.

On Friday 7 April at around 5.30pm a man was arrested for trespass at Nottingham Railway Station.

Once in custody he was found to be wanted by Nottinghamshire Police for burglary and was in possession of multiple items including silver bracelets, a brass serving tray, a Cuban cigar box, stamp collection book gold spoons and other items that he was unable to account for.

Although officers have conducted an extensive investigation owners of the items have yet to be traced.

Investigating officer PC Simon Cantrill from Nottingham said “I am keen to get these items returned with their rightful owners, I am sure some of these items are of sentimental value to someone and hope we are able to reunite them.

“I would urge anyone to look at the property and contact family who may not see this appeal to check if these items are theirs.”

If you believe these items could belong to you contact BTP.

Proof of ownership will be required.
