Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses or footage following a fatal collision at Hanger Lane in Ealing.

Police were called at 09:22hrs on Saturday, 6 May to reports of a lorry in collision with a motorcycle.

Officers, London’s Air Ambulance [HEMS] and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended. At the scene the motorcyclist, a 59-year-old man, had sustained critical injuries.

The injured man was taken by LAS to a west London hospital where he sadly died from his injuries.

Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the lorry, a male aged in his 30s, stopped at the scene and is assisting with police enquiries. There were no arrests.

Road closures and cordons were established. They have since been removed.
