An officer is due to appear in court after being charged with sexual assault.
PC Muhammed Miah was charged on 5 January 2024 with one count of sexual assault by touching.
He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 2 February 2024.
The charge follows an investigation into a report that a woman was touched inappropriately by a man in January 2020.
PC Miah, who based at the Central East Basic Command Unit, was off-duty at the time of the alleged offence.
The officer is suspended from duty.
